New Retrofied Magazine Showcases Unproduced Kenner M.A.S.K. Toys!

Today is the 35th anniversary of M.A.S.K. and a brand new magazine is here to help us celebrate! Meet Retrofied, "a new quarterly magazine created to celebrate the pop culture you grew up with." The first 50-page preview issue was released today and is FREE to anyone who wants it. Click here to get your copy now.

The cover story of the preview issue is a "Brief History of Oral History of M.A.S.K." featuring interviews with former Kenner employee Bill Kraimer, Season 2 "Racing" episodes director Michael Malian, voice actors Doug Stone and Sharon Noble, IDW editor-in-chief John Barber, and IDW comic writer Brandon Easton. So much great information is packed into this story including images of toy prototypes that may have never been released before and insights into the mysterious origins of the M.A.S.K. Split Seconds toyline.

The rest of Retrofied's preview issue is full of great nostalgic articles around "masks" in general like Ben Cooper Halloween costumes, retro cereal boxes that featured cut-out masks, and The Mask comic/film franchise. Plus, puzzles, columns, and facts line the pages of the magazine which makes it a nostalgia lover's dream come true.

If you subscribe to the quarterly magazine through Patreon, you also get bonus content. Right now as a companion to the preview issue, there are even more concept images of the M.A.S.K. toys mentioned in the article. Consider signing up for this quarterly publication and supporting the retro community of writers and creators that Retrofied is building!
