'Revolution' Writer John Barber Shares Miles Mayhem's Origin For New Comic Event

The head of Hasbro's properties at IDW and Transfromers comic writer John Barber shared some great insight about Revolution in a recent Comics Alliance video. Barber, who is also one of the main writers for Revolution, tells us how M.A.S.K. and Miles Mayhem will be added to the story.

According to Barber, Miles Mayhem is an old advisory of G.I. Joe's General Joe Colton and his former Adventure Team. In fact, it sounds like Colton is the one who gave him the nickname "Mayhem." For Revolution's storyline that pits G.I. Joe against Optimus Prime and the Autobots, Mayhem returns with "a new team of racers and pilots led by Matt Trakker" to help the Joes.

Sounds like this M.A.S.K. team will be unified in the beginning with Miles Mayhem as its founder and later splitting off V.E.N.O.M. from the original team. Watch the video below for the full scoop on Revolution from writer John Barber (the G.I. Joe/M.A.S.K. info starts around the 1:38 mark.)

While I try to stay on top of all the new information released about M.A.S.K. and now Revolution, it's practically impossible to find every single story on the web. It's my fellow M.A.S.K. fans in the community that continue to share information with our social media outlets that helps me give you the latest. A HUGE shout-out to Darren Gregson for sharing this video!!
