  1. This is a fantastic episode! I love the part from when Vanessa and Dagger set the tripwire across the bridge until Vanessa discovers that Switchblade`s fuel tank is leaking. This sequence contains some of the best action in the entire series. The last half of it was also used in a commercial for the Shout! Factory DVD.
The rest of the episode is also great. It hardly has any low points. Love Mayhem`s line towards the end: "In fifty seconds all of Texas will be on fire! Too late M.A.S.K.!" A true villain!

  2. I really didn't get the same enjoyment. The animation quality wasn't bad, but it was noticeably less than the previous episodes. I missed Vanessa and Gloria not having their own vehicles. I can accept that either everyone in town was watching the same channel or that Venom's box disrupted all TV frequencies. Rhino jumping that gorge? Accepted it as a kid but as a adult I find it a bit harder to take. Not a bad episode, don't get me wrong. It just wasn't one of the better episodes.
