The SDCC 2026 Hologram Thunderhawk Just Started Shipping

The SDCC 2026 Hologram pair everyone pre-ordered back in July has started shipping, and both Thunderhawk and Condor are in stock at BigBadToyStore right now.

Both convention exclusives were pre-order only when they opened in July, and BBTS still had them listed that way as of our last Toy Watch update. That has changed. Thunderhawk is confirmed in stock today at $79.99, and Condor alongside it at $54.99. Both are print runs made for the 2026 convention season, so treat in stock as temporary rather than a restock you can count on.

What Makes The Hologram Edition Different

The Loyal Subjects built this Thunderhawk out of the same premium sculpt as the core Wave 1 release, then swapped the deco for a translucent blue-clear body with printed cybernetic gridlines, like the car rendered inside the M.A.S.K. computer command center. Turn the lights off and the whole vehicle and cockpit glow green. It still converts from sports car to jet fighter in one push, same as the standard release.

Condor Gets The Same Treatment

Condor's hologram version runs the opposite color from Thunderhawk, a transparent green vehicle and figure instead of blue, with the same gridline detailing and glow-in-the-dark plastic. It keeps the core release's conversion, motorcycle to helicopter in a few steps with working rotor blades. At $54.99 it is the cheaper of the two exclusives and the one more likely to sit in stock a little longer.

Worth Grabbing Both?

If you already own the standard Wave 1 Thunderhawk and Condor, the case for the Hologram pair is purely a display piece, not a functional upgrade. The gridline deco and the glow are the entire pitch. If you skipped Wave 1 and want the hero car either way, paying the SDCC premium gets you a display centerpiece instead of the regular colorway for about $20 more per vehicle. Neither one is a running production item, so once BBTS sells through this batch there is no guarantee of a second print.
