MASKast 38: Doug Stone Interview

We are pleased to bring our listeners the first interview with one of the original cast members of the M.A.S.K. animated series, Doug Stone! The veteran voice actor joins us for some great insight into the development and legacy of M.A.S.K. as well as his long career in television, movies, and video games.

Doug credits M.A.S.K. as his "career launcher" in a 30-year legacy of voice acting, directing, writing and producing. Doug was the voice of Matt Trakker, Bruce Sato, Dusty Hayes, Hondo MacLean, and several other characters during the 75 episode run of the M.A.S.K. animated series. From there, his career led him to several Japanese anime works like Ghost In The Shell and Ninja Scroll, "looping" for such TV shows as Hercules and Xena: Warrior Princess, and also voicing Psycho Mantis in the Metal Gear Solid video game series. More recently, Doug voiced a magician for the feature film Thunder and the House of Magic which was filmed in 3-D and received a worldwide release.

We really appreciate Doug's enthusiasm and fielding our questions (and yours) about M.A.S.K.'s impact on the voice cast and fans alike. We know you'll enjoying listening as Doug provided some fun clips of his voice counterparts for the show. MASKast 38 is now available!
