MASKast Assignment: US Comics Series 2 Issues 1-3

For a little change of pace, Jason and Wyatt will be reviewing comics on the next MASKast podcast! We will be diving into Series 2 of the US Comics published in 1987 by DC Comics. As we do with our episode reviews, we plan to go page-by-page through each issue and then discuss the story and even the ads.

We will be breaking up the 9 issue series in three parts so your assignment is to read Issues 1-3 and give us your thoughts on each story. Instead of doing a poll with a 1-5 ranking, we will be ranking in order or our favorites. So be sure to tell us which of the first three was your favorite, second favorite, and least favorite. As we continue to review issues, we'll carry over our rankings until we have ranked all nine issues.

Issue 1: The Ice Age Cometh

V.E.N.O.M. kidnaps a professor working for P.N.A and forces him to create a machine that turns anything to ice. The only force on Earth that can stop Miles Mayhem sinister plans for world domination is Matt Trakker and the M.A.S.K. team!


Issue 2: Masquerade

When agents of V.E.N.O.M. attack a cruise ship, Matt Trakker springs into action. But there is more to this caper then simple robbery. Can M.A.S.K. discover what their diabolical enemies are up to before its too late?


Issue 3: The Switchblade Conspiracy

The action intensifies as V.E.N.O.M. stops at nothing to destroy M.A.S.K. once and for all. Can M.A.S.K. survive a sneak attack, especially with the dwindling support of their government?
